Where your seeds have been planted. We are excited to get to work for 2024!
Our foundation is honored to have partnered with Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries (NCM), a faith-based, non-profit, ecumenical ministry dedicated to providing emergency assistance to families in Norcross, Peachtree Corners, Doraville, and Tucker, Georgia, within Gwinnett County. NCM is supported by a network of twenty-three local churches, as well as numerous businesses, civic and social organizations, foundations, and individuals.
Since establishing ourselves as a foundation within this hyper-local community we call home, we have had the privilege of working closely with NCM by visiting their facility, meeting with their amazing leaders to discuss future projects and events, and having them come to speak at the previous golf tournament in 2022. We are excited to announce that we will be partnering with them once again for our upcoming 2023 golf tournament this fall.
NCM truly exemplifies the spirit of community assistance, as they work directly with individuals in need, providing face-to-face support. We are inspired by their dedication and impact within the community. Our foundation is eager to continue building a strong relationship with them and to explore further opportunities for collaboration in the future.
For some of our students, the only meal that they receive each day is the one that is provided at school. During the Thanksgiving and winter break, these students face hunger because school is closed. We are proud to serve as a food pantry drop-off location partnering with Southwest Gwinnett Chamber and the City of Peachtree Corners. This is to help families during Thanksgiving and Winter break.
In the spirit of the holiday season, we are thrilled to join forces with Generations Church of Norcross to host a heartwarming angel tree at the brewery. This initiative holds significance as the staff here and this group of leaders of Generations Church strive to make a family’s holiday special. We are excited to collaborate with this dedicated crew to help facilitate the distribution of these meaningful gifts. From bracelet sets and gift cards to a play-doh set, every contribution serves a larger purpose. We are committed to being a vessel and doing more for this community as each season passes, and we recognize that we cannot achieve our goals without your invaluable support. By participating in this angel tree, you are actively supporting the community that surrounds us, right in our own backyard!! To participate, stop by the tree as you come sip on a brew, flip over an ornament and scan the QR code for more information. Once you have purchased the gift(s), GC kindly asks that you bring them gift-wrapped back to our brewery by the 17th of December. You are also welcomed to donate to our foundation by heading to the link in bio and titling it as a contribution to the giving Angel tree. Thank you for your great support.
Norcross is committed to environmental conservation. This year, Cultivation Foundation decided to contribute to Norcross‘s blossoming pollinator community and Sustainability committee by donating plants to an exciting new project near the city hall.
Their efforts for this plant project aims to establish the important awareness to the community of cultivating thriving bee-friendly spaces right in the heart of Norcross. Now that is something we were proud to get behind with this amazing commission board.
A little history to the Cultivation Brewery and Cultivation Foundation space, the owners were experienced landscapers and part of a reputable tree company. Their deep-rooted appreciation and knowledge of plants that will thrive here brought a unique perspective to finding different ways to create positive impacts in this city.
We cannot wait to continue to work with these guys in another exciting and upcoming project in the Norcross Community Garden.
Our foundation had the privilege of joining forces with Northlands Church last year of 2022 to support their food pantry side. We met with one of their leaders to discuss their process, how the food pantry works and their mission of making a difference in our hyper local community. Together, we organized a food pantry event aimed at assisting local families in need. Whether they were part of Northlands Church or members of the wider community, our collective effort provided them with support in the form of bags of groceries.
Although we are not Northlands Church, we are proud to have partnered with them during the beginning stages of our Foundation. We look forward to continuing a partnership with the community through making a positive impact right here in Norcross, GA and surrounding communities.
